Meet Dr. Perry
Once upon a time (in 1992), Dr. Blake Perry was a teenager who was given the gift of cosmetic dentistry for his own smile. Dr. Kent Willer was a pioneer cosmetic dentist who made structural improvements for Dr. Perry’s young smile. This, and a high school baseball coach, Dr. Stobvie, also a creative and transformative dentist, shaped his interest in cosmetic and implant dentistry.
From dental school at the University of Iowa until today, Dr. Perry has had diverse experiences including touching the clouds as a jet pilot in the U.S.A. Air Force. He has also trained with many dental specialists with the help of mentors and training at the Kois Center, CAD Star with James Klim, and CEREC Training in Scottsdale.
He is continually learning and giving back by participating in the Smile Virtual Elite, CEREC Doctors, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and nonprofit groups like Rise-Up Kids International, and Circle of Empowerment. Dr. Perry is a life learner with empathy.
For the last 12 years, he has been striving to master the arts and science of a confident smile and the joy of tasty meals with dental implants.
The unique experiences and skills not only allow him to deliver beautiful results, but also ensure optimal life health, enjoyment and longevity. With an eye for precision and detail he learned as a fighter pilot and student, he’s able to see the tiniest details that make a big impact. Known for being into golfing, surfing, skiing, and CrossFit, Dr. Perry is usually outside on a trail or sailing with his family.
His philosophy of dental implants are strength and structural form that mimics the function of chewing and speaking. His philosophy of dentistry is building confidence through the art and science and inspiration of nature.

Meet Our Team
Rhonda | Office Manager
I graduated in the Dental Assisting program at PIMA Medical Institute and started as a dental assistant in 1993 where I loved helping the doctor give patients the best dental experience possible. After 23 years, I switched to working in the front office.
I love working with the team and patients to help create an environment that fosters trust and confidence. Helping patients navigate financial options to realize their dental goal is so rewarding. Building personal connections with my teammates and the community we serve, makes coming to work everyday a pleasure.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and twin boys. I love to refurbish furniture and browse antique shops.
Mandy | Account Management
I started out in dentistry as an assistant where I greatly enjoyed working closely with patients and doctors providing care and education to the public for close to 10 years. I transitioned to front office administration where I continue to enjoy working with patients applying and managing insurance payments as well ensuring maximum utilization of benefits.
Helping patients navigate the world of insurance here at Perry Family Dentistry is both rewarding and challenging. The team here at Perry Family Dentistry was a great fit for me because we are more like family than coworkers, and we all have the same goals of providing excellent care to patients.
When not in the office you can find me spending time with my daughter, camping, fishing, boating, or spending time with friends and family.
Jessica | Schedule Coordinator
Jessica is the friendly face at the front desk. She has worked in the dental field for over 3 years as a scheduling coordinator. Behind her beautiful smile is a woman who is passionate about getting to know all of our patients and making sure they receive quality service and attention.
After 8 years of working in the medical field, Jessica decided it was time for something new and started her career in the dental field. Jessica soon fell in love with the dental field after seeing the positive changes this practice makes in patients’ lives and the level of quality we maintain.
As our patient coordinator, Jessica helps maintain the schedule as well as answer phones, confirms appointments, and supports our office manager in running the front office. Her mission is to provide quality interactions to every patient and ensure our schedule is organized to respect patient’s time. Our patients and team enjoy her bubbly, positive personality and radiant smile.
After 29 years as a dental assistant, I transitioned to working at the front desk.
As an insurance specialist in the dental field, my goal is to make sure all patients have the help they need to understand their dental insurance. I have always enjoyed seeing patients leave with a healthier, happier smile and knowing I was part of that is a great feeling!
I am passionate about helping my dental patients with all aspects of dentistry. When patients have questions or needs, I do all I can to help them stay happy and satisfied with our service.
Carlos | Restorative Dental Hygienist
I have been in the dental field 19 years—working from a dental hygienist to a restorative dental hygienist. My personal mission is to educate patients about the importance of oral health and help them understand ways to improve their oral health at home.
In my education, I’ve received both an Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. I love the working environment and job security of being in dentistry, and my favorite part is being able to see immediate results in the patients I work with. My favorite part of dentistry is positively affecting people’s lives through their smiles.
Rachel | Dental Hygienist
Rachel has been in the dental field for twelve years, six of which were spent working chairside as an assistant which inspired her passion for dentistry. She decided to further her education and become a hygienist in 2016, receiving her Associates in Applied Science degree from Shoreline Community College.
Rachel loves being part of a team that provides a high level of care and is on the cutting edge of technology. Rachel works with our patients to educate them on how they can improve and maintain their oral health, while also providing instructions on how to uphold a proper at home routine. She loves to interact with the patients and build relationships with everyone she encounters.
In Rachel’s spare time, she enjoys leading an adventurous and healthy lifestyle along with her husband, Tyler, and border collie pup, Alfred. They participate in CrossFit daily, and escape on camping trips that include mountain biking and dirt biking whenever time allows.
Samantha | Dental Hygienist
I started my dental career in 2012, working as a dental assistant in a great office located in Northgate. The hygienist that worked there really inspired me to go forward with my dream of becoming a dental hygienist myself. I graduated dental hygiene school in 2017 from Lake Washington Institute of Technology.
I started working for Dr. Perry’s office in 2019, and was thrilled to be part of a great team using cutting edge technology to provide the utmost care! I truly enjoy working for the practice and providing my patients with the best care.
Gracie | Dental Assistant
Hi, my name is Gracie and I have been a dental assistant going on 7 years. Dental assisting is something I really enjoy! I attended a running start program at the technical academy in Mount Vernon when I was in high school in 2012. It was there that I saw how much dentistry can impact people’s lives, and that’s what drove me to dentistry.
I graduated high school in 2013, received my prereqs from Skagit Valley College and graduated the dental assisting program at Bellingham Technical College in 2015. I have been working for Perry Family Dentistry since 2016.
It has always been my goal to make sure patients are comfortable and understanding of their treatment. I love being part of a patient’s smile transformation.
Outside of the office I enjoy exploring new places, spending time in the sun, camping, and mostly anything to do with the outdoors.
Nichole | Dental Assistant
Nichole has been in the dental field for about 6 years and at three offices. She was inspired to work in the dental field after seeing how the end result from her own braces in high school made her so much more confident in her smile.
After completing her education at the Job Corps Dental Assisting Program, she eventually found her way to Perry Family Dentistry, and we’re so happy to have her! Nichole works every day to help us reach our daily mission: providing our patients the highest quality lifetime dental care in a professional, caring, and comfortable environment.
What makes Nichole excited about dentistry is being able to comfort and reassure patients during their procedures—and her true passion for dentistry comes from seeing an amazing smile transformation!
Chloe | Dental Assistant
I have more than 5 years of experience working as a registered and certified dental assistant. After graduating from my program at Bellingham Technical College in 2016, I eventually came to Perry Family Dentistry and have loved working here.
My mission as a lead dental assistant at Perry Family Dentistry is to make sure the office has the inventory of instruments, equipment, and materials to be able to provide treatment for patients. As an assistant, I strive to make the patient feel comfortable, educated, and assisted with the highest of dental care.
I wanted to work in the dental field after seeing my oldest sister be a dental assistant and loving it. Also, I liked the variety, the benefits, and the work schedule involved with this job..
When it comes to dentistry, I am most passionate about being part of the process of a patient’s dream smile.
Rose | Dental Assistant
I have been a Certified Dental Assistant for a year and am now starting the path to become a Dental Hygienist. I recently completed my education at Bellingham Dental Assisting School—class of 2020!
My mission as a dental assistant here at Perry Family Dentistry is to aid patients in accomplishing and maintaining a healthy and happy smile. As a dental assistant, I provide top of the line dental care for my patients and educate each individual patient of their specific needed treatment.
I was inspired to work in dentistry after going through my own complicated 5-year long orthodontic treatment. After 5 years of orthodontic appointments, I became very familiar with the dental field and took an interest in the human mouth. I soon learned the dental field offers a variety of positions and the importance of oral health.
When it comes to dentistry, I am most passionate about the huge positive impact on my patient’s health and smile. I love seeing the difference I can make in my patients dental health and appreciate the best moments when a patient finally accomplished their dream smile.

I received my associate’s degree at Whatcom Community College in Bellingham, WA; then my Dental Assistant certification at University of Alaska Fairbanks.
